Please send in your local news for inclusion on this page

bulletArea 22 dates are   31st May/1st June, Dressage & SJ, North East Fife and 5th July, Horse Trials, Auchlishie, Angus please contact michelle.matheson@dounreay.com if you are interested in representing the club at the events.

bulletThe Riding Club Committee are looking for the support of our "non-competitive/non-riding members" to help assist at our summer events this year.  We are in desperate need of the members to help in the smooth running of a number of our events including the Open Show/Dressage & Combined Training and ODE.  Without your help, we may not be able to run all the events we would like too.

Please do not worry if you have not helped in the past or feel you have no experience.  We are looking for people to help scribe dressage/jump judge/ help with putting poles up for SH/WH Classes/steward at shows (ring stewards & gate stewards) and in some cases, just cook at the BBQ!!!!.  A full review of what is required will be given to you, so please do not be put off by thinking that you don't know how to do something.  Although the club has a strong committee, we cannot be on the ground for all the events, therefore we are looking for your support to help us.  Please contact Catriona.kennedy@bt.com for more info.

bulletInstruction weekends are the most popular events that we run, with a membership
number in the excess of 120 - we ask that if you wish to attend the lessons,
that you return your forms asap along with payment.  Should you need to drop out
of a lesson, so long as you inform Michelle by the Monday night prior to that
weekend, then you will not be charged for your lesson.  Anyone who has to drop
out after Monday may need to pay unless there is a waiting list of names.
Dropping out will be refunded on the basis that "the first to drop out, will be
the first to be refunded" so long as there is someone to fill any available
space".
